Servings: 6

Total time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • ⅔ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

DIRECTIONS

  • In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, sugar, cream, corn syrup, cocoa powder, and salt over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar is dissolved.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat and let boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla until well combined.
  • Allow to cool to your desired consistency—it will thicken the longer it cools. To thin again, reheat in a microwave-safe bowl for a few seconds.
  • Enjoy in tin roof sundaes!
