Caesar Salad

INGREDIENTS
Croutons:
- 1 loaf day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Dressing:
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Salad:
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Croutons:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- On a baking sheet, toss the croutons in the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, until evenly coated.
- Spread in a single layer and top with grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake until golden and crisp, about 10 minutes.
Dressing:
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, mustard, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and red wine vinegar. Then slowly whisk in the olive oil until combined.
- Stir in the salt and pepper.
Salad:
- In a large serving bowl, toss the lettuce, parmesan cheese, and croutons with the dressing until evenly coated. Enjoy!
