Slow-Cooked Pork

INGREDIENTS
- 6-lb bone-in pork butt or shoulder
- 1 Tbsp liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 green cabbage, cut into 2” squares
DIRECTIONS
- Rub the pork roast with the liquid smoke and kosher salt, then place fat-side-up in a crock pot.
- Cook on low for at least 8 hours (preferably overnight), until it falls apart easily.
- Shred the pork in the crock pot, discard the bone, then add the cabbage and increase crock pot heat to high.
- Cover and cook until the cabbage is softened, about 20 minutes.
- Serve hot over white rice!
