Frozen Lemonade

INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups water (divided)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 5 cups ice
- 1 lemon, sliced, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water and the 1 cup sugar to a boil and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cool completely.
- In a blender, combine the simple syrup with remaining water, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ice until it reaches desired consistency.
- Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
