INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (18.25-oz) box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs, divided
  • 2 tsp vanilla, divided
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • Evenly spread and press the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish.

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out with few crumbs (it’s best slightly underbaked).
