Chocolate Walnut Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 ¼ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 9-inch pie crust

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar. 
  • Add the eggs and butter, and stir to combine. 
  • Add the walnuts, chocolate chips, vanilla, and salt, and stir to combine. 
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust and bake until set, about 45 minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely before serving.
