Tater Tot Hot Dish

INGREDIENTS

  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 10-oz can condensed broccoli & cheese soup
  • 1 10-oz can condensed cream of mushroom or cream of chicken  soup
  • 1 15.2-oz can whole corn kernels, drained
  • 1 14.5-oz can green beans, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and worcestershire. Drain grease if needed.
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef and onions with the sour cream, broccoli & cheese soup, cream of mushroom soup, corn, green beans, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the mixture into an even layer in a greased 9×13 casserole dish. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
  • Bake uncovered until the tater tots are browned and the casserole is bubbling, about 50 minutes. 
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve hot!
