Roast Turkey

Servings: 4-8

Total time: 2-4 hours

INGREDIENTS

  • 3- to 6-lb turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • In a small bowl, make a paste with the butter and spices.
  • With the turkey skin-side up in a roasting pan or greased 9×13 pan, rub the spice mixture both under and on top of the turkey skin, covering as much as possible.
  • Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees at the thickest part of the breast, about 20 minutes per pound. 
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
