Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs ribeye steak
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1 Tbs worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbs salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb provolone cheese slices
  • 4 hoagie rolls, buttered and toasted

DIRECTIONS

  • Use a mandolin to cut the beef against the grain into very thin slices. Cut the peppers into strips and the onions into half rings.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over high heat and saute the vegetables until golden brown and tender. Set aside.
  • Add the beef to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Saute until the beef is fully cooked but not overcooked! Stir in the worcestershire.
  • Add the vegetables back into the skillet and toss everything together. 
  • Top the meat and veggies with slices of provolone cheese and let it sit until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately on toasted hoagie rolls.
