Simple Sweet Corn

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 14-oz cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  • Lower the heat to a simmer and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.  
  • Serve hot.

NOTE

  • You can use frozen corn instead of canned. Just simmer it covered for 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes uncovered.
